It's exciting to see a photorealistic image or animation of your new product appearing on screen
Early stage visualisation (or "Rendering") brings your concepts to life as virtual prototypes, helping you, the team and your customers choose the right concept and where the design can be improved.
Creating "a top notch" image or animation gives you powerful tools to get other people excited about your new product, making it "real" long before any metal tool is cut or prototype created.
The Benefits of Consumer Product Design
Fast feedback
3D CAD models are great, but aren't as realistic as a rendered image, which is easier to share and better for getting realistic feedback from customers or team members.
Virtually test the aesthetics
With simple renders it can take minutes to make changes, and retest. High quality renders can give you very accurate view of the final product.
Save cost
Presentation prototypes need painstaking hand crafting, making them costly. Rendering is a much quicker and cheaper way to see what it looks like!
Get people excited!
High quality marketing-style renders are an extremely persuasive tool. Animation convey's more detailed information about function or shape than a static image.
Tools in our arsenal include:
Solidworks
Great for animating mechanical assemblies, or just producing super quick "screen renders".
Photoview 360
Mid range renders for quick visualisation, perfect for team reviews.
Maxwell Render
Insanely good rendering based on the real physics of light, used "sparingly" for the most spectacular marketing style images.
So Here's an Example of Animation
This is the marketing video we did for Cammotion, enabling them to sell the concept at the Broadcast LIVE show at Earls Court 3 months before completion of build. (NOTE: The original was HD resolution filling a large screen. Also this was just prior to us rebranding as Realise, which is why it says Red3D)... enjoy!
